Server Log Files (Hosting)

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. With each access, technically necessary usage data is stored in so-called server log files (e.g. name of the page accessed, date/time, IP address, volume of data transferred, requesting provider). Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, in our legitimate interest in the trouble-free operation of the website.

Cookies & Consent

We use technically necessary cookies on the basis of § 25(2) TTDSG. Cookies and services that require consent (e.g. the Meta Pixel) are only loaded after you have expressly agreed via our cookie notice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TTDSG). Your choice is stored locally in your browser; you can withdraw or change it at any time via ‘Cookie settings’ in the footer.

Fonts (locally hosted)

We embed all fonts (including ‘Lato’, ‘Cinzel’ and our Norse typeface) locally from our own server. No connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts) is established; no personal data is transferred to third parties.

Meta-Pixel (Facebook/Instagram)

With your consent, we use the ‘Meta Pixel’ from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland). It allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show relevant ads to visitors of our website (reach and conversion measurement, remarketing). Cookies may be set and data – possibly also to the USA, for which no adequacy decision exists – may be transmitted to Meta; the transfer is based, among other things, on standard contractual clauses. Processing takes place solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TTDSG), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future. Further information: Meta’s privacy policy.

Newsletter (Double-Opt-in)

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address in order to send you information about products, offers and dates. Registration uses the double opt-in procedure: after signing up you receive a confirmation email; only after your confirmation do we add you to the mailing list. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time – via the unsubscribe link in every email or by message to info@glanzundgravur.de. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

Online Shop (Ecwid)

Our shop is embedded via Ecwid (Lightspeed). When you use the shop and place orders, the data required to fulfil the contract is processed (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, where applicable, passed on to shipping and payment service providers (e.g. PayPal, Klarna, Amazon Payments). Cookies that are necessary for the shopping cart and payment may be set.

Contact by Email

If you contact us by email, we process your details (name, email address, message) only to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Your data is then deleted in compliance with statutory retention periods.

Newsletter

If you have expressly consented, we use your email address to send our newsletter (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by notifying us.

Social Media

Auf unserer Website verlinken wir lediglich auf unsere Profile bei Facebook, Instagram und Etsy. Eine Datenübertragung an diese Anbieter findet erst statt, wenn Sie aktiv auf einen dieser Links klicken.

Your Rights

Under Art. 15 to 20 GDPR you have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You also have the right, under Art. 21 GDPR, to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR as well as to direct marketing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR.

Note: this is a courtesy translation; the legally binding version is the German one. This privacy policy has been adapted to the services actually used on this website (IONOS hosting, Ecwid shop, local fonts, Meta Pixel with consent). Please have it reviewed by a lawyer before publication.
