At Glanz & Gravur, every piece is made in our small workshop in Alsdorf (NRW, Germany). We are a family business with heart – and a passion for the imagery and sagas of the North.
Precise laser engraving, finished by hand.
Our motifs are laser-engraved – hair-fine, permanent and true to detail. The result is line work that renders even the finest runes and picture-stone scenes razor-sharp.
We choose our materials with care: teak and native woods, real slate and heavy crystal glass. Each brings its own grain.
Our woodwork is finished with loving handcraft – sanded, polished, assembled. No two pieces are exactly alike.
The Vikings told their sagas in stone: on the Gotlandic picture stones you can see riders, ships, gods and heroes – whole stories in a single image.
That very tradition inspires us. Whether Odin, Yggdrasil or a heroic saga like that of Atli and Gudrún – we translate the old motifs into modern, laser-engraved one-of-a-kind pieces.
